I’ve done some small improvements to Shiny Things; mostly adding some Wordpress plugins and fixing some problems.

You can now explore Shiny Things by using tags. At the end of each article, you’ll see a list of tags. Clicking on that tag will take you to Technorati, which will allow you to see other blog posts with the same tags I’ve used. Or you can stay inside Shiny Things by clicking on tags in the tag cloud in the sidebar on the right. The bigger and bolder a tag is in the tag cloud, the more often I’ve used it. So if you want to see all the posts I’ve tagged with ‘macintosh’, just click on ‘macintosh’ in the cloud and the list should come up.

You can also easily use social bookmarking services for any post, and you can more easily subscribe to Shiny Things given the subscription badges in the sidebar.

And you can now see the number of times an article has been viewed (they’ll all start out at zero, even though most have been viewed many more times than that). You can format an article for printing by clicking on the print icon at the end of it, or you can email it by clicking on the email icon.

I’ll work on the basic visual appearance later.
