Isaac Hayes Quits ‘South Park’

A few months back, South Park ran a very funny episode skewering the Church of Scientology - ending with it daring them to sue. Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef, happens to be a Scientologist. We were wondering at the time how he’d react to the episode… unfortunately, he seems to have decided to leave the show as a result. His statement is that he’s leaving because of the show’s disrespectful attitude toward religions; the South Park guys counter by pointing out that Hayes only had this reaction after they mocked Scientology… the latest in a long line of religious satire.
